Job Overview

Responsibilities include providing Application Support within the ICT Shared Service. To assist the Application Support Team Leader in the delivery of the ICT Application Support aspects of the ICT Service Plan.

Key Responsibilities

APPLICATION SUPPORT

• Provide guidance and support for application users to ensure that the business application systems supported by the ICT Shared Service are maintained to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of productivity and efficiency.
• Support application configuration, upgrades, problem analysis, and resolution in collaboration with users and external suppliers.
• Assist with ICT application project implementations and provide technical input as needed.
• Examine application functionality and performance, providing suggestions for improvements.

BUSINESS SUPPORT

• Analyze system data and produce technical and business reports for departmental managers.
• Provide user training and develop training materials.
• Proactively manage data quality in relevant systems.
• Maintain interfaces, exports, imports, and ensure their smooth operation.
• Manage interfaces, operational processes, and data extracts.
• Create and run reports, interfaces, and routines to support daily operations.

Other

• Undertake additional duties of similar level and responsibility as required.

Skills And Experiences

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with at least two (2) years of Application Support or Business Analyst experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in planning, installing, maintaining, and supporting business applications like LMS and SMS.
• Experience in providing ICT application support to users.
• Experience with implementing and upgrading business applications.
• Ability to analyze user needs, map processes, and document results.
• Understanding of IT application issues, data integrity, and governance.
• Experience in data migration projects.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of application support, software, and business analysis.

Language Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English.
