About the role

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Apache Groovy Developer to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using the Groovy programming language. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will play a vital part in driving the company's technological innovation and delivering solutions that address our clients' evolving needs.

What you'll be doing

Designing, developing and testing Groovy-based applications and services

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective software solutions

Optimizing application performance, reliability and scalability

Maintaining and enhancing existing Groovy applications

Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation

Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Staying up to date with the latest Groovy technologies, trends and best practices

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an Apache Groovy Developer or a similar role

Strong proficiency in the Groovy programming language and its core features

Familiarity with Java and its related frameworks and libraries

Experience in developing software applications using agile methodologies

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and collaboration abilities

A passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies

3-5 Years of experience with Apache Groovy

Experience in MSSQL Database and Rational Database

Experience with PowerShell in Windows Batch
