Job summary

DHL Group in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, seeks an experienced procurement professional to implement category strategies and lead local supplier negotiations for transportation services. You will collaborate with regional teams to ensure best-in-class suppliers and maintain strong cost-quality tradeoffs.

The role requires 8-10 years in transportation procurement, ability to travel ~20%, and a track record in complex negotiations within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• MBA (advantage) is an added qualification.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in procuring transportation services, including large-scale projects.
• Sourcing experience in transportation and relevant services is a must.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end RFx sourcing support for key initiatives and regional contracts.
• Specialize in strategic sourcing and market trends for transportation and related services to reduce costs.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with business partners.
• Integrate procurement services at country level to maximize value and meet quality, price and service demands.
• Identify right suppliers to drive innovation and contract management per policies.
• Support supplier risk assessment and sustainability KPIs.
• Support with supplier transportation services for Malaysia and Singapore.
