Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a Solution Engineer to support overseas projects through technical evaluation, design, and bid support. The role covers data center, renewable energy, energy storage, solar, and wind applications, with collaboration across engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams.

The candidate will contribute to technical feasibility, compliance with international standards, and delivering competitive technical proposals for global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in technical support or solution engineering for power systems.
• Experience with prefabricated substations or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience with data center, renewable energy, solar, wind, or energy storage is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical reviews of overseas projects, including system configuration and prefabricated substation solution assessments.
• Develop and optimize engineering designs for technical feasibility and commercial competitiveness.
• Design and integrate prefabricated substations and modular power systems tailored to customer requirements.
• Support tender submissions by defining specifications and preparing technical proposals.
• Provide system-level recommendations while ensuring compliance with international standards and local requirements.
• Collaborate with sales teams on technical clarifications and presentations.
• Drive product improvement by adopting international engineering best practices.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to resolve drawing and implementation issues.
• Develop customized solutions for data center, renewable energy, energy storage, solar, and wind applications.
• Lead technical evaluations and contribute to global product competitiveness.
• Perform additional project-related assignments as required.

Reporting to the Engineering Design Manager, the Solution Engineer will play a critical role in supporting overseas projects through technical evaluation, solution design, and bid support activities.Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct technical reviews of overseas projects, including system configuration and prefabricated substation solution assessments.
• Develop, review, and optimize engineering designs to ensure technical feasibility, reliability, and commercial competitiveness.
• Design and integrate prefabricated substations and modular power system solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Support tender and bidding activities by defining technical specifications and preparing technical proposal documentation.
• Provide technical consultation and system-level recommendations while ensuring compliance with international standards, industry regulations, and local requirements.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams on technical clarifications, customer presentations, and solution positioning.
• Drive continuous product improvement by incorporating international engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
• Work with manufacturing teams to resolve technical drawing and implementation-related matters.
• Develop customized solutions for data center, renewable energy, energy storage, solar, and wind power applications.
• Lead technical evaluations and contribute to product competitiveness in global markets.
• Perform additional technical assignments and project-related activities as required.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in power systems and experience supporting engineering or technical solution delivery within the electrical or energy sector.Key requirements include:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in technical support, solution engineering, product engineering, or power system applications.
• Experience with prefabricated substations, power distribution systems, or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Prior exposure to data center, renewable energy, solar, wind, or energy storage projects would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of power system design, engineering standards, and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting tender submissions, bid preparation, and customer-facing technical discussions.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and project teams.
• Fluent written English with the ability to communicate effectively in a global business environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard business applications.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
