Job summary

Swiss Re is seeking a Head of P&C Reinsurance Contracts in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves drafting and evaluating reinsurance contracts while ensuring compliance with corporate standards.

The ideal candidate will have over five years experience in the (re)insurance sector, strong negotiation skills, and a strong grasp of P&C policy wordings and coverage. High fluency in both Chinese and English is essential, with additional fluency in Mandarin as a plus.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of (re)insurance experience in claims, underwriting, coverage counsel, legal or product roles.
• Solid understanding of P&C (re)insurance policy wordings, coverage and business processes.
• High fluency in Chinese and English, including business terminology.

Responsibilities

• Draft and critique (re)insurance contracts and related documents.
• Perform portfolio analysis on contract risks.
• Support contract negotiations with clients and brokers.
• Develop training materials on contract-related matters.
