Job summary

TP Malaysia is offering a 6-month Marketing & Business Analyst Internship in Penang. You will support business analysis, reporting, BI dashboards, and marketing initiatives across the APAC region, working closely with stakeholders to develop insights and compelling presentations.

Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to gain practical experience across both business and marketing functions. The role emphasizes collaboration with regional teams and hands-on analytics skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, able to analyse data and create clear presentations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and dashboard development required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and draw insights.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to present information clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional and regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support business analysis and reporting by gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to provide insights.
• Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Power BI to monitor performance.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities across APAC.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for senior stakeholders and management.
• Support planning and execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and APAC markets on strategic projects.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and support other business, reporting, and marketing projects as required.
