Job summary

Swiss Re in Kuala Lumpur invites an APAC Contracts leader to shape the Life & Health reinsurance contracting function across Asia Pacific. You will lead a nine-person Contracts Specialists team, align with underwriting, pricing, legal and risk, and drive governance, drafting discipline and value protection.

With 12–15+ years in Life & Health (re)insurance contracting and a strong track record in multi-location leadership, you will accelerate workflow modernization and GenAI-enabled practices

Qualifications

12–15+ years in Life & Health (re)insurance contracting with drafting and negotiation.
Strong commercial judgment and ability to articulate risk trade-offs.
Experience leading nine professionals across multiple locations in a regulated reinsurance environment.

Responsibilities

Lead contract drafting discipline and governance in APAC.
Own deviation governance, risk analysis, and contract standardization.
Partner with underwriting, pricing, claims, legal, and risk functions.
Drive GenAI-enabled workflows and digital contracting tools.
