Job summary

Air Liquide in Malaysia, Petaling Jaya is seeking a Financial Controller to provide reliable financial data and analysis for the APAC scope. You will standardize reporting, manage dashboards, and support monthly closes and forecasts while coordinating with Business Controllers and shared services.

The role requires a degree in finance or related fields, at least 3 years of experience, and strong analytical skills with Power BI and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, engineering or relevant disciplines.
• At least 3 years of solid financial experience and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of AL products, customers, markets and solutions.
• Logical thinking, adaptable, quick learner, transformation mindset, excellent time management, proficient with numerical data.
• Proficiency in financial statements analysis and expert skills with data and presentation tools including Google suites, Power BI.
• Clear and concise, able to simplify complex topics.
• Strong business acumen, positive mindset, adaptive and solution-driven.

Responsibilities

• Manage finance interfaces mapping and standardize reporting tools and processes.
• Prepare IRIS and OIVA CSV files; manage Power BI dashboards as needed.
• Provide consistent financial data to Business Controllers for monthly Flash, Forecast, Target, and mid‑term plan and analysis.
• After month-close, review country results and coordinate with shared services for adjustments.
• Support CFOs with analytical reviews of financial statements, including CF and BS.
• Conduct transversal analyses on gross margin, including PEx, G&A, provisions and D&A to Net Income; ensure accurate taxonomy reporting.
