Job summary

This role owns the full financial control and GL agenda for the Malaysia entity, partnering with the Board, Operating Committee and Senior Leadership Team to drive value and performance. It requires 8–15 years in finance with 3+ years in people management and ACCA/CPA/MICPA/ICAEW, plus strong month‑end close and regulatory experience.

Qualifications

• Own the full financial control and GL agenda for the Malaysia entity.
• 8-15 years of progressive finance experience with 3+ years in people management.
• ACCA / CPA / MICPA / ICAEW or equivalent.
• Strong ownership of GL, financial control & month-end close.
• Strong exposure to Malaysia regulatory & statutory reporting, audit, tax, budget & forecast.
• Strong understanding of SOX / internal controls.
• A hands-on people leader who can develop and grow a team.

Responsibilities

• Own the full financial control and GL agenda for the Malaysia entity.
• Partner with the Board, Operating Committee & Senior Leadership Team.
• Drive performance management, budgeting & forecasting.
• Lead regulatory, statutory, audit & tax matters.
• Lead and develop a team of 5+ with ownership of talent and succession.
• Gain regional/APAC exposure and contribute to transformation & continuous improvement.
