Job summary

S&P Global Energy seeks a Manager, Price Reporting for Biofuels and Feedstocks to lead a Penang-based team and shape APAC market coverage. You will drive price assessments, manage sources, and collaborate with analytics, commercial, and news units.

The role requires deep biofuels knowledge, demonstrated leadership, and strong analytical skills. This position offers regional exposure across Singapore and Malaysia with industry events involvement.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of biofuels and feedstocks markets; familiarity with derivatives preferred.
• Proven leadership in managing, developing, and motivating teams in a commercial or market-facing environment.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and commercial acumen with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and external market participants.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin language proficiency is advantageous for interactions with China-based participants.

Responsibilities

• Managing a price reporting team in Penang, Malaysia and leading market coverage on biofuels.
• Building and managing our database of contacts, seeking potential new sources to contribute to our assessment process and developing relationships with market participants.
• Identifying opportunities to refine methodology and launch new price assessments.
• Editing daily and weekly commentaries, reviewing and approving the daily assessment work.
• Providing support on other biofuels and feedstocks markets as may be required.
• Boosting news stories and multi-media coverage.
• Representing S&P Global Energy at industry events and in face-to-face meetings with market participants to drive market adoption.
• Work closely with relevant units across the organization such as commercial, analytics and news.
