Job Description:
Role Overview: The Sales Operations and Revenue Programs Analyst will play a critical role in leading the bottom-up sales forecasting process for the APJ region. This role involves identifying key drivers, tracking changes, managing backlog and shipment metrics, and ensuring seamless operations across the sales organization. Partnering closely with the Japanese Sales Operations Analyst, the individual will contribute to a cohesive and efficient sales operations function across the APJ region.
The successful candidate will also assist in coordinating the worldwide distributor forecast, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, this individual will lead the Beat and Raise revenue strategy for the team, driving accurate sales forecast inputs and supporting the company’s 2025 plan of record.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Forecasting: Lead the bottom-up sales forecasting process for the APJ region, identifying key business drivers, changes, and trends. Track and analyze backlog and shipments to provide actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with the Japanese Sales Operations Analyst to ensure alignment and provide a seamless experience for the APJ sales organization.
- Worldwide Distributor Forecast Coordination: Assist in the preparation, tracking, and measurement of the worldwide distributor forecast against KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Revenue Programs: Drive the Beat and Raise revenue strategy for the team by coordinating sales forecast inputs and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Strategic Contribution: Support the achievement of the company’s 2025 plan of record by aligning revenue programs and sales forecasting efforts with broader business objectives.
- Analysis and Reporting: Provide detailed analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Identify risks and opportunities within the sales forecast and recommend actionable solutions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to sales operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and consistency across sales systems and tools, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams to align on revenue-driving strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years+ of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or related roles, preferably within a global organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Salesforce, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the APJ market and business practices is highly desirable.
