Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an AOI Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain Automated Optical Inspection systems used in PQFN semiconductor assembly processes. You will work with Process, Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering and Quality teams to ensure high inspection accuracy and production efficiency.

You will lead programs, validate new AOI recipes, analyze defect trends, and drive continuous improvement in yield and defect reduction while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain AOI inspection programs for PQFN assembly processes.
• Fine-tune AOI parameters to maximize defect detection and minimize false rejects.
• Validate new AOI programs before production release and continuously improve algorithms.
• Support AOI setup and qualification for new PQFN packages and product specs.
• Analyze AOI data to identify process trends and yield loss; drive improvements.
• Assist with equipment setup, calibration, verification, and qualification; coordinate upgrades.
• Ensure AOI processes comply with ISO, IATF 16949, and QA records; support audits.
