Job summary

Xepa-Soul Pattinson (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Analytical Technical Services Chemist / Quality Control Chemist to support analytical method development and validation for raw materials and products. The role emphasizes transfer, impurity analysis, and regulatory-ready documentation.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree (or PhD preferred) with at least 2 years of chemistry experience, familiarity with LC/GC/MS equipment, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Chemistry or Science (preferred).
• At least 2 years of relevant chemist experience with LC, GC or MS.
• Membership/licentiateship in MICh or equivalent (preferred).
• Overtime work including weekends may be required.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical method development & validation for NPD in-house or tech transfer.
• Lead analytical method transfer to/from Quality Control.
• Oversee impurity analysis to meet ICH M7 and Q3 requirements.
• Maintain documentation per ICH Q2 and GLP standards.
• Support lifecycle management for finished products and raw materials.
• Coordinate with Regulatory for technical submissions.
• Manage routine testing for IMP and related materials.
• Support digital laboratory projects and equipment calibration.
