Analyst, Investments and Business Development
Development & Projects
Ormond Group

Group Overview

ECM Libra Group is an operator-investor platform with active positions across hospitality and education in Asia.

In hospitality, the Group owns and operates the Ormond Group, with a portfolio of more than 2,500 keys across the region. Flagship assets include the award-winning The Chow Kit and Tune Hotel KLIA2, which has been recognised as Asia’s best airport hotel. Alongside owned hotels, the Group is building an asset-light third-party management business and currently manages the luxury five-star The RuMa Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on behalf of its owners. Growth will come through a combination of selectively expanding the owned portfolio in affordable luxury and lifestyle hotels and scaling management partnerships, including entry into new segments such as beach and ski resorts for the aspirational traveller.

Within the education platform, ECM Libra Group owns and operates Epsom College in Malaysia (Asia’s leading boarding school) and holds the Asia-wide licence for the Epsom College brand. Opening Epsom College Tokyo and building a network of schools across Asia across premium, mid-market and affordable segments. Linked initiatives include an enrichment business with sporting academies in partnership with Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, Golfzon Leadbetter Academy and LaLiga, and a B2B expedition business leveraging hotel assets in Borneo and Hakuba.

Investments are opportunistic across hospitality, education and adjacent ventures. This is not a passive investing role. You will review opportunities, support transaction structuring and negotiations, and then take ownership of projects that make the business successful. The role blends financial analysis with hands-on delivery, including partnership development, commercial problem-solving, and revenue generation.

Start: within the next 2 months.

Compensation: from RM7,000/month + performance-linked bonus , plus standard medical and allowances.

This role sits at the centre of how ECM Libra Group grows. You will evaluate new opportunities, build the analysis behind commercial decisions, and support transaction structuring and negotiations. You will also be given projects to own and drive, regardless of prior background, with clear responsibility for outcomes. Expect to move between analysis, stakeholder management and on-site execution, with frequent travel.
