We are currently inviting applications for the role of Analyst, Institutional Client Group (ICG) within the Institutional Client Group (formerly known as FIG).

Ideal candidates should have a genuine interest in building a career in Corporate and Institutional Banking, particularly within the ICG sector. They should be eager to understand how HSBC can add value through financial solutions and services, and develop relationships with clients including Insurance companies, Asset Management firms, and Banks (both local and international) across HSBC’s global network. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with an inquisitive mindset, aiming to grow their career within HSBC’s Corporate and Institutional Banking franchise.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support senior Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of clients, including Malaysian and international Financial Institutions and Non-bank Financial Institutions.
  • Develop and refine core relationship management skills by working with diverse clients and a broad range of products and solutions.
  • Assist Senior RMs in managing client requirements, facilitating deal execution, and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as legal, compliance, credit risk, and product teams.
  • Maintain a good understanding of credit and financial crime risks to ensure alignment with the Bank’s risk appetite.
