Responsibilities:


  • To manage profitability improvement of the assigned portfolios by achieving growth for loans, deposits, Forex, interest, non-funded incomes to meet the top lines target of gross operating profit (GOP) and net operating profit (NOP), as well as challenging new business domain to achieve unique KPIs set by the management.

  • The incumbent must actively participate in various business promotion initiatives, and to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders i.e. Management Team, Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB), Domestic Office, and Product Partners/Internal Departments to achieve the set targets.

  • To attend to the credit applications for new, renewal, and change in conditions, also to collaborate with CRD (Credit Team) for the application of borrower rating reviews on timely manner.

  • To handle all aspects of relationship management and related operations of the companies (including troubleshooting) through regular visits and discussions and to monitor the usage of our credit facilities granted to them.

  • To take immediate action to safeguard for credits with sign of deterioration, early warnings etc. in clients' business performance.

  • To ensure the compliant and adherence of all relevant policies, procedures, regulations, guidelines in line with BNM, Parent Bank and regulatory requirements, cultivating and practicing a robust risk compliance culture.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.

  • Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant working experience in credit and marketing.

  • Applicant must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Good knowledge of banking regulatory environment, relevant laws & regulations, industry trends and products.

  • Accountable for own and team contributions and take ownership of their tasks.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

  • Possess good written and oral communication skills in dealing with internal employees or external customers/client.

  • Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
