PSA is currently seeking for Analysts to join our Kuala Lumpur office. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, especially if they have experience with writing and research.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct online media and social media research.
• Effectively collect, collate and analyze data.
• Write, package and edit reports in English, based on research carried out including research by other team members.
• Maintain accurate records of project related tasks.
• Manage and respond to project related tasks and communications (including emails).
• Prepare and conduct interviews with subject matter experts.
• Accurately monitor project budgets.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in the social sciences;
• Professional fluency (both written and spoken) in English;
• Academic and/or work experience in the fields of political and/or social analysis, investigations or other related field of research;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at online research;
• Strong level of attention to details and good analytical skills;
• Excellent written communication skills and must be able to produce professional-level research and reports in English;
• Professional and motivated self-starter capable of delivering well researched documents with minimum supervision;
• Project management skills and the ability to work effectively either independently or as part of a team; and
• Able to manage multiple competing deadlines and effectively prioritize workload to deliver project deadlines.
