About Us

Rhee Analytics is a data analytics firm that provides market research and data analytics support to Rhee Capital, a licensed boutique asset management company based in Hong Kong, specializing in a combination of qualitative and quantitative investment strategies.

We currently have three Analyst positions open, each specializing in a different equity market: the U.S., Hong Kong, and Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Qualitative research into different industries and individual names with a focus on listed companies in one of the following markets: U.S., Hong Kong, or Indonesia.
• Digest and glean insights from a large number of financial statements.
• Occasional participation in conference calls.
• Candidates interested in the Hong Kong market may be involved in a new project where we summarize daily non-proprietary news and insights into a short 10-minute financial market script for posting on social media.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented. Interest and ability to interpret financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).
• Some interest in financial markets.
• Comfortable with numbers and reading about different industries.
• Proficient in MS Word/MS Excel.
• Ability to easily read and write business English. Candidates are strongly encouraged to take the Jobstreet English Language Assessment (JELA).
• All majors and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic spoken Cantonese and written Chinese are a plus for candidates interested in covering the Hong Kong market.
• Ability to easily read business Bahasa Indonesia is a plus for candidates interested in covering the Indonesia market.
