Job Overview
Develop, review, update, and implement high-quality lesson plans, tutorials, assignments, class discussions in line with the syllabus, and deliver lectures and workshops effectively to students. Contribute to new academic program development, supervise students, monitor progress, and participate in academic administration, ensuring compliance with university regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, update, prepare and implement high-quality lesson plans, tutorial assignments, and class discussions in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum.
- Conduct and deliver quality lectures, tutorials, discussions, workshops, consultancy, and other means of learning facilitation professionally and effectively to students.
- Contribute to the development of new academic programmes and provide ideas, suggestions, proposals, and recommendations to improve the institution's overall operational management and profitability.
- Supervise students and be responsible for their academic progress.
- Monitor and provide feedback to students on their performance and offer academic counselling.
- Participate in the general academic administration of the faculty when required.
- Fulfill administrative and supervisory roles related to teaching, research, and innovation.
- Assist in developing examination papers and assessments according to course learning outcomes, invigilate exams, and evaluate student performance.
- Assist in communication and administrative matters following university policies and regulatory requirements by authorities such as MOHE and MQA.
- Participate in marketing activities such as education fairs, open days, and other promotional events.
- Attend to other tasks and assignments as assigned by management.
Skills And Experiences
- Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Information Technology. A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience is required.
- Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
