Job summary

A leading international airline is seeking candidates for operations at Kuala Lumpur International Airport or Penang International Airport. Qualifications

Job description

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or Penang International Airport (PEN). We welcome applicants from Kuala Lumpur or Penang. When submitting your application, please indicate your preferred location (KLIA or PEN).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor overall processing at check-in counters and boarding gate departures; liaise with ground handling agents, immigration, customs, health and airport security as required.
  • Ensure smooth handling and safety of aircraft arrivals and departures; monitor and report emergencies to the airline immediately.
  • Handle passenger complaints; be IT savvy with knowledge of email etiquette and timely replies.
  • Complete daily and monthly reports; Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge required for submissions to Head Office.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Ability to converse in Mandarin, English and Malay is preferred, given the large number of Chinese tourists on our airline.
  • Candidate must possess a valid local driving license and passport for travel to Head Office, where comprehensive training is provided.
  • Prior working experience with airlines will be an added advantage.
