Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings in Penang.

The technician ensures all HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely, conducts tests, calibrations, and routine maintenance, and troubleshoots issues with specialized tools to keep occupants comfortable and compliant with regulations.

• Experience installing HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration units.
• Connect electrical wiring and controls to the HVAC systems.
• Test HVAC systems for proper functioning and performance.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
• Inspect and test system operation, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Change filters, check refrigerant levels, and ensure all components are in good working order.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using specialized tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
• Test repaired systems to ensure proper operation and performance.
