You will be joining our Revenue Care Team to add your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational + Customer Excellence
Your Role
You are responsible for ensuring that our Finance Accounting Policies are followed at all times, driving profitability, cost awareness + efficiency across the Air Logistics organization. In this role you will provide leadership + direction to the Revenue Care Team (RCC)
Your Responsibilities
- To identify + structurally resolve performance gaps collaborating with stakeholders across all departments.
- To proactively ensure the timely closure of files, early GP recognition + improve auto closing rates.
- To routinely perform audits on closed files, documenting + escalating any issues as required.
- To ensure all intercompany billing is performed timely, completely, correctly + that disputes/redebits are adequately resolved.
- To systematically review + reduce the minimum provision for bad debts + write-offs.
- To analyze country profit + loss sheets along with customer profitability, identifying gaps vs. financial targets, focusing on the bottom 10 accounts (based on accumulative GP) in collaboration with relevant financial controllers.
- To identify root causes of issues + propose corrective actions to improve GP, establishing + driving GP improvement plans.
- To ensure the accuracy + consistency of all operational finance data over its life cycle.
Your Skills and Experiences
- A degree in finance, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is often preferred.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in air logistics or freight forwarding.
- Experience in revenue management, cost control, and financial analysis within the logistics industry.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics and financial software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
