Responsibilities
  • The Security Operations Manager provides a key role as a member of the AIG Global Security operating in APAC. The Ops Manager provides direct support to the Regional Security Director (RSD), APAC, delivering best-in-class physical security support services throughout the complex framework of AIG Companies and Corporate Functions (i.e., the department’s clients).
  • Respond to incidents, identify cause, mitigate, deescalate, navigate, prevent and report to RSD and act as needed, from reporting and working with law enforcement and local functions.
  • Establish a reliable and approachable security department for AIG APAC.
  • Assure the safety and security that can be increased by using enhanced security measures and technology
  • Perform administrative functions to support the RSD as requested.
  • Together with the RSD, develop physical security test plans, including testing requirements and criteria, test cases, end-to-end test requirements, and post implementation testing.
  • Conduct Physical Security Audits in APAC, identify and report the conditions and remediate plans to maintain or match the global security standards to assure the security conditions.
  • Monitor issues and incidents in progress, resolution and prioritization of tasks as well.
  • Research and resolve ongoing issues that arise in the normal course of business.
  • Organize and maintain crisp data management programs and serve as the gatekeeper for all departmental work products.
  • Oversee all APAC security related contracts, such as guarding and technology, including developing, administering and tracking key performance indicators.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key vendors.
  • Partner with the Executive Protection team to support executive arrivals and departures as needed.
  • Support site specific security operations and align Global Security Methods and Standards.
