Job summary

SoCreative is looking for an AI Video Editor in Kuala Lumpur to own the brand videos from script through final edit. You will work with the founders in the growth team and be accountable for videos that stop, engage and drive demos.

You will generate scenes with Higgsfield and Midjourney, script and storyboard ads, social content, product launches and brand films, then edit with sound for a finished product that stays on brand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years creating AI-generated video with a portfolio of realistic scenes and finished videos.
• Expert in Higgsfield and other AI image/video tools; skilled at prompting for consistency.
• Able to script, storyboard and edit end to end with strong storytelling.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

• Create SoCreative's brand and marketing videos with AI, from first idea to final cut.
• Write scripts and build storyboards for ads, social content, product launches and brand films.
• Generate realistic scenes, people and footage with tools such as Higgsfield, Midjourney and the latest video models.
• Edit, add sound and finish every video yourself.
• Work with the growth marketer on ad creative for LinkedIn and Meta, test variations and scale what performs.
• Keep every video on brand and consistent with our brand guidelines.
• Keep up with new AI models and workflows, and bring the best of them into how we work.

SoCreative is rebuilding creative production. Our AI-powered platform, global creator network and dedicated creative team work as one system, so marketing, comms and learning teams get video, photo and design in days, not weeks.

We work with brands like Microsoft, TikTok, American Express, EY, Alibaba, Toyota and Qantas. We have vetted creators in 100+ cities, most projects go from brief to delivery in 48 hours, and our customers give us a 90+ NPS.

The role

As our AI Video Editor, you'll own SoCreative's own brand videos, from script and storyboard to generated scenes and final edit. You'll sit in the growth team, work directly with the founders, and be accountable for video that makes people stop, watch and book a demo.

Who you are

• 2+ years creating AI-generated video, with a portfolio of realistic scenes and finished videos.
• Expert in Higgsfield and other AI image and video tools, and skilled at prompting for consistent characters, scenes and style.
• Able to script, storyboard and edit end to end, with a strong sense of story and pacing.
• Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Comfortable using ChatGPT and Claude, including Claude skills, to plan and write.
• You move before you're told. You see a problem, make a decision and own the result.
• You hold your work to a high standard before anyone else checks it.
• You keep improving. You take feedback well, learn fast and make each version better than the last.
• You do your best work in a fast-moving team with tight turnarounds.
• You're curious about AI and already use it to work faster or raise the quality of your work.
• You write and speak clear, confident English.
