Job summary

SeaOwl Group seeks an AI Digital Transformation Engineer to drive AI-enabled transformation across document control, payroll tooling, and HR workflows. You will implement and roll out systems, train users, and collaborate with technology partners to deliver high-impact projects.

You will design, configure, and maintain AI features integrated with an applicant tracking system and payroll processes, ensuring data protection and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• At least 1 AI solution implemented for real users with explanation of built, rationale, and issues.
• Experience with retrieval over company documents (RAG), AI agents, or workflow automation tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the final selection of the document control system, then lead its rollout across projects.
• Configure workflows, migrate existing documents, and train users on document control systems.
• Build AI automation for repetitive document control tasks such as registering, classifying, checking, and distributing documents.
• Work with the payroll team in Thailand to understand the current process and design and build a tool that removes repetitive manual work.
• Design payroll tools with data protection from the start, given the highly confidential nature of payroll data.
• Develop AI features of the applicant tracking system with the software vendor for more accurate CV screening and ranking.
• Support technology partnerships that bring AI and digital tools into maintenance engineering and commissioning services.
• Support internal research tools used by the business development team when needed.
• Specify, set up, and maintain the hardware and hosting these tools need, including local AI models where appropriate.
• Help decide what to build in-house and what to outsource; brief, follow, and review the work of external consultants and vendors.
