Job summary

Lam Research in Penang, Malaysia, offers a 6-month internship to support the Global/Regional Business Operations team with admin, AI and analytics tasks. You will help develop prototypes, dashboards and AI agents to improve efficiency.

Ideal candidates are final-year undergraduates in AI, CS, Software Engineering, DS, or Analytics, with knowledge of Generative AI, Power BI, Copilot or similar tools, and basic Python/JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in AI, CS, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics or Information Systems.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power BI or similar AI tools.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript or related languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for AI and automation.
• 6-months internship.

Responsibilities

• Support development of AI-enabled solutions using Power BI, Copilot, Power Platform, Python and low-code/no-code tools.
• Help develop prototypes, automations, dashboards and AI agents to boost operational efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies for business applications.
• Ensure reliability and quality of data management and reporting deliverables.
• Perform general administrative duties as assigned by supervisor.
