Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Network & AI Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, operate and optimize a high‑performance AI/GPU computing platform. The role requires strong data‑center networking, security fundamentals and hands‑on troubleshooting across data centres, GPU clusters and cloud connectivity.

You will lead network architecture, deployments and on‑call support, mentor engineers and collaborate with Security, Systems, Operations and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 8+ years in network engineering, preferably in data-center, cloud or large-scale infra.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, BGP and network redundancy/HA.
• Experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting production network infra.
• Hands-on with enterprise data-center switching/routing platforms (Juniper, Cisco, Arista).
• Experience with firewall technologies, network segmentation, VPNs and security policies.
• Knowledge of AI networking tech (InfiniBand, RoCE) advantageous.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Johor and on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate and maintain highly available network infrastructure for AI/GPU clusters and data centres.
• Support high-performance GPU network fabrics and InfiniBand/Ethernet architectures.
• Configure data-centre networking: routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, HA.
• Support LAN/WAN/VPN connectivity between data centres, customers and cloud environments.
• Lead network architecture discussions, capacity planning and infrastructure expansion.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues across switches, NICs, DPUs, hosts and GPU workloads.
• Develop expertise in AI networking technologies and related tooling.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents and outages; mentor engineers.
• Create runbooks, documentation and SOPs for network operations.
