Job summary

Mission Consultancy Services Malaysia is building our candidate database for an upcoming AI Engineer opportunity. We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions that solve real business problems across the full AI/ML lifecycle.

The role requires strong Python, hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, deploying models to production, and collaborating with data teams.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of AI engineering or machine learning experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience deploying ML models into production.
• Experience with LLMs and Generative AI (OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face).
• Understanding of feature engineering and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with MLOps (MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Experience with AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google Vertex AI is an advantage.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Strong statistics and ML knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-driven solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and feature engineering workflows.
• Develop, fine-tune, and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists.
• Deploy models into production environments (MLOps).
• Monitor deployed models for performance and reliability.
• Evaluate AI/ML APIs and frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into AI solutions.
• Conduct experiments and A/B testing.
• Document model architecture and data pipelines.
• Ensure responsible AI practices.
• Stay current with AI/ML technologies.
