Job description

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled AI Engineer / Specialist to join our growing digital transformation team. This role focuses on developing, deploying, and scaling cutting-edge AI solutions — especially in the areas of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV), and Large Language Models (LLMs).

The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who can work cross-functionally with researchers, software engineers, and stakeholders to bring AI ideas to life through real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Development & Deployment

• Design, build, and optimize state-of-the-art AI/ML models for real-world use cases (e.g., NLP, CV, ASR, predictive modeling).

• Implement and fine-tune generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models, LLMs) for creative applications such as text generation, image synthesis, and knowledge summarization.

• Translate academic AI/ML research into production-ready, scalable code.

Technical Implementation

• Deploy AI models into production environments using cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

• Collaborate on system architecture to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into platforms and applications.

• Utilize MLOps tools and best practices to automate and monitor model lifecycle (training, inference, retraining).

• Participate in solutioning sessions with stakeholders, project teams, and customers to propose AI-driven enhancements.

• Work closely with front-end/back-end developers, data engineers, and DevOps for full-stack implementation.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

Core Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.

• 4–6+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions.

• Proficient in Python, and hands-on with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.

• Solid knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and generative models (e.g., GPT, BERT, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion).

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and integrating models into web-based systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiar with OCR, speech recognition, image recognition, knowledge extraction, and transformer-based models.

• Experience with LLM prompting, embedding, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or fine-tuning.

• Comfortable with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud.

Interpersonal & Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities across multi-cultural, cross-functional teams.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and innovation in AI technologies.

• Able to work independently, and under pressure, while meeting tight deadlines.

• Proactive mindset in exploring and evaluating new AI technologies for business value.

Added Advantages:

• Experience working on Supply Chain, SCM solutions, or enterprise AI applications.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevOps methodologies.

• Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, SVN/Git, SonarQube, Jenkins, Eclipse/VSCode.

• Contributions to open-source AI projects or published research papers.
