Job summary

Lavu Tech Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced AI Data & Semantic Modeling Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade AI and analytics solutions. You will build data access layers, semantic retrieval frameworks, and natural language interfaces for enterprise data.

The role emphasizes Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures, modern backend development, and scalable data platforms, working with Python, REST APIs, and frontend tools like React/Next.js/Streamlit.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or AI solution development experience.
• Strong experience in Hybrid RAG architectures, semantic search, vector databases, and metadata-driven retrieval systems.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise databases and data warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, PostgreSQL.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience with streaming architectures, asynchronous processing, and job orchestration.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with React, Next.js, or Streamlit.
