Flextronics - The Flex Company in Penang seeks an AI Data, Senior Engineer to support growth and deliver high-quality products from Batu Kawan. You will design and implement AI data workflows, build reliable data pipelines, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires 4–6 years in data engineering, strong ETL experience, and experience deploying ML models in production. You will work with SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and cloud services like AWS Redshift, Azure Data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4–6 years in data engineering with ETL pipeline development.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workflows with clean, reliable data.
• Proven track record of deploying ML models in production.

Responsibilities

• Work on AI algorithms for classification, detection, time-series, and reinforcement learning.
• Develop SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka pipelines.
• Use cloud data services like AWS Redshift, Azure Data Factory, GCP BigQuery.

Job Summary

To support our continued growth and delivery of high‑quality products, we are seeking an AI Data, Senior Engineer to join our team to be based at Batu Kawan, Penang

What a typical day looks like:

• Good experience in Al algorithms of Classification & Detection, Time-Series & Predictive Models, Anomaly Detection, Reinforcement Learning, Clustering & Recommendation.
• SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.
• Cloud data services (AWS Redshift, Azure Data Factory, GCP BigQuery).
• Data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• API development and integration with enterprise systems.
• Strong coding and automation of data workflows.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4–6 years in data engineering, with ETL pipeline development and backend integration.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workflows with clean, reliable data.
