Job summary

PU Prime is seeking a highly creative AI Creative Designer in Kuala Lumpur to leverage AI in a complete creative workflow—from concept development and storytelling to generation, editing, and final production.

The role emphasizes strong graphic design fundamentals and proficiency in motion, video editing, web design, or app/UI design, with a young, trend-aware visual style. You will collaborate across Marketing and Branding to deliver engaging, AI-enhanced content.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly creative AI Creative Designer who can use AI to create compelling, story-driven video content and turn AI-generated materials into polished, high-quality final productions.

This is not a role for someone who simply knows how to generate AI images or short clips. You should be able to use AI as part of a complete creative workflow — from concept development and storytelling to generation, editing, and final production.

A strong foundation in Graphic Design is essential, along with additional expertise in at least one of the following areas: Motion Design, Video Editing, Web Design, or App/UI Design.

We are looking for someone with a young, modern, trend-aware visual style who is excited about experimenting with new creative technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and produce story-driven AI videos, including creative concepts, narratives, scenes, characters, and visual direction.
• Use AI tools to generate video, animation, imagery, characters, environments, voice, and other creative assets.
• Edit and refine AI-generated materials into high-quality, professional final videos, rather than relying on raw AI outputs.
• Combine AI production with traditional design and editing techniques to achieve stronger visual consistency and production quality.
• Create graphic design assets for social media, digital campaigns, branding, and other marketing initiatives.
• Develop creative concepts with a young, contemporary, social-first visual approach.
• Experiment with emerging AI creative tools and continuously introduce new production techniques and visual styles.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Branding, Social Media, and other teams to translate campaign ideas into engaging creative content.

• Ability to edit, refine, and transform AI-generated footage into polished, high-quality final productions.
• Strong Graphic Design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, colour, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong visual taste with a young, modern, fresh, and trend-aware design style.
• Strong creative thinking and storytelling ability — able to develop an idea rather than simply execute instructions.
• Comfortable experimenting with new AI tools, workflows, and creative technologies.
• Proactive, energetic, curious, and passionate about creative work.

In addition, candidates must have strong capability in at least ONE of the following:

• Motion Design / Motion Graphics
• Video Editing & Post-production
• Web Design / Landing Page Design

Nice to Have

• 3D design or animation experience.
• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other social-first platforms.
• Experience with AI-generated characters, digital humans, voice, music, or sound design.
• Experience developing integrated AI workflows across multiple creative tools.
• Understanding of social media trends, internet culture, and emerging visual aesthetics.
• Experience producing creative assets for digital advertising and performance campaigns.

We would particularly like to see:

• AI-generated narrative or story-driven videos that demonstrate the candidate's ability to maintain visual and character consistency across multiple scenes.
• Examples showing how raw AI-generated materials were edited and refined into professional final content.
• Strong Graphic Design work demonstrating visual fundamentals and creative taste.
• Work demonstrating at least one additional capability in Motion, Video Editing, Web Design, or App/UI Design.
• Projects that demonstrate a young, contemporary, creative, and digitally native visual style.

We value creative thinking and execution quality over industry experience. Prior experience in the financial or trading industry is not required.
