We are a lean, high-impact team where engineers work directly on cutting-edge AI products serving enterprise clients across Malaysia and the region.
We are seeking an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to design and implement advanced multi-agent AI systems that automate complex business processes for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-agent pipelines using LangGraph and/or CrewAI, including defining agent roles, task decomposition, inter-agent communication, and state management.
- Develop supervisor/worker agent architectures to enable complex, multi-step reasoning tasks.
- Build and deploy automation workflows using N8N, integrating triggers, conditionals, API calls, and data transformations.
- Integrate AI agents into broader business process automation pipelines, including designing human-in-the-loop checkpoints where necessary.
- Implement tool-calling agents with access to APIs, databases, search, and file systems, and build custom tools for agent consumption.
- Manage agent memory (short-term, long-term, episodic) for persistent workflows.
- Integrate GPT Vision or equivalent for document parsing, screenshot analysis, and visual data extraction.
- Develop multimodal pipelines that combine text, image, and structured data inputs.
- Integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and utilise vector search for agent knowledge grounding.
- Apply prompt engineering for agent personas, reasoning chains, and output formatting.
- Deploy agentic systems on self-hosted VPS infrastructure, ensuring observability, logging, and robust error handling.
- Expose agent capabilities to frontend and external systems via API endpoints using FastAPI.
Requirements
Must-have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- 1-4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with hands-on production experience in agentic or LLM-based systems.
- Demonstrated production experience with LangGraph and/or CrewAI.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying N8N workflows.
- Experience integrating GPT Vision or equivalent for image and document understanding.
- Proficiency in Python; comfortable reading JavaScript.
- Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI API, Claude API), function calling, tool use, and structured outputs.
- Strong prompt engineering skills, including system prompts, chain-of-thought, ReAct patterns, and output formatting.
- Understanding of RAG fundamentals, including embeddings, vector search, and retrieval grounding as agent tools.
- Experience with FastAPI for exposing agent capabilities as APIs.
- Familiarity with Git, VPS/cloud deployment, basic Linux administration, and error handling for asynchronous workflows.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex for knowledge-base construction.
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) server development.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with Docker for containerised agent deployment.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for agent workflow testing and deployment.
- Basic ability with React.js to build simple agent UIs or dashboards.
- Experience with structured output validation (e.g., Pydantic, instructor library).
