About the Role

This role involves planning and executing strategic agency business development initiatives to support the Agency Business Development teams in Petaling Jaya and the East Coast, aiming to achieve corporate goals and targeted outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Agency Business Development team to plan and strategize the positioning of key initiatives, products, and campaigns to support regional production targets.
  • Identify insights and trends using data to diagnose current situations and drive the execution of key initiatives.
  • Conduct market intelligence through focus groups or on-ground feedback from Agency leaders and life planners, providing insights to internal teams like Agency Strategy and Product Marketing.
  • Be familiar with and act as a product specialist for key offerings such as Takaful, General Insurance, Private Retirement Scheme, and Mortgage. Collaborate with the Agency Performance team to promote cross-selling aligned with Total Health Solution & Total Wealth Solution strategies.
  • Manage day-to-day agency activities, including recruitment and digital tool integration.

Job Requirements:

Education: Tertiary education in any field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales & marketing within the agency or insurance industry, preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and oral).
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Passionate about delivering assigned work.
