About the role

Are you an experienced insurance professional seeking a dynamic and challenging role as an Agency Manager with a leading insurance Agency? M&G TEAM PLT' is seeking a driven and results-oriented Agency Manager & Insurance Consultant to join our team in Melaka. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for leading and developing our team of insurance consultants, driving sales and business growth, and ensuring exceptional client service.

What you'll be doing

Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of insurance consultants to achieve sales targets and business objectives

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of insurance professionals

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency, including client relationship management, policy administration, and compliance

Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and expand the agency's client base

Monitor industry trends and regulations to ensure the agency's services and compliance are up-to-date

Collaborate with the broader M&G TEAM PLT' team to identify and capitalise on cross-selling opportunities

Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management on the agency's performance and growth

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong track record of success in sales, client management, and team leadership

Extensive knowledge of the insurance market, products, and regulations, with the ability to identify and capitalise on emerging trends

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

A proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and marketing strategies

Proficiency in relevant insurance software and technology

A degree in insurance, finance, or a related field is preferred
