Job description

Purpose

Provide support in relation to activities to ensure the business areas have accurate data on which to monitor and improve sales performance, meet compliance, governance requirements and support the activities development and operation of wider projects and business as usual activity to ensure the wider sales function is operating effectively and efficiently.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Support, manage, develop, implement and deliver the plan via key strategies to aid the overall success of the business.
  2. Resolve complex queries/errors and ensure problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  3. Analysis of business performance and results in sales and comparison of results with defined outcomes.
  4. Coordinate, plan and implement measures as well as assisting in projects.
  5. Support the implementation of sales initiatives, networks, events and systems, execute the liaison between the field and internal areas on customers issues and maintaining management data in systems.
  6. Support specific and more complex customer management activities.
  7. Prepare customer reports and other information for key meetings.
  8. Investigate research/analysis around potential business development opportunities.
  9. Carry out tasks, such as the preparation of customer reports, to support the implementation of projects to time and quality standards.
  10. Work with Sales and Distribution teams to ensure effective ongoing sales performance.

Business Accountabilities

  1. Carry out tasks, to support the implementation of projects to time and quality standards.
  2. Monitor and review sales information, updating where necessary in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies and ensure management has access to up to date and accurate information.
  3. Work with sales teams to ensure effective ongoing sales performance.
  4. Management data is available and used, independently collate and analyze customer and distributor data using predetermined tools, methods and formats and make optimization recommendations.
  5. Assess and evaluate business processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Provide specialist advisory support to internal clients on a daily basis, by being focal point of contact, to ensure that there is no misalignment between policy and practice.
  7. Investigate and drive research/analysis around potential business development opportunities.

Performance Management Accountabilities

  1. Model behaviors that demonstrate commitment to corporate values.
  2. Provide input into performance management discussions of project team members.
  3. Educate team members and business partners on area of technical expertise.
  4. Provide guidance and support for team members.
  5. Take action to manage own personal development and encourage others to do the same.

Education and Experience

Required: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Economics and 5 or more years of experience in related field.

Additional Education / Experience
Preferred: project management experience.
