About the Role
You will be responsible for creating and developing all content from idea to execution. This includes planning and leading the development of articles, interviews, and shoots for the AD Buzz on a weekly basis. Additionally, you will edit stories contributed by third parties for the AD Buzz. You will also communicate all campaign and digital engagement strategies and activities to the agency force to ensure awareness. This position involves crafting all communication for the agency force's consumption.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and craft all communication to be disseminated to the agency force. This includes but is not limited to notification through AIA Life Planner App, AIA Life Planner Portal, Premier Emails, Circulars, Posters, Infographic etc.
- To also develop and ideate the themes and content for the agency magazine AD Buzz. To conduct interviews, direct photoshoots/video shoots of interviewees for the AD Buzz and other communication material.
- To write articles based on interviews as well as videos to be shared on AD Buzz – to also craft other lifestyle content that will appeal and is relevant to the agency force and on-going AIA agency campaigns/ contest/ events.
- Work together with a team of designers to create the end-product of all communication collateral that will then be disseminated to the agency force. To also work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to create content for agency force consumption daily. To be able to understand and digest campaigns, contests and events to then be communicated in a way that appeals to the agency force.
- Reach out to possible partners for collaborations whether internally or externally for AD Buzz. To develop new ideas for the content creation for these partners so they are able to provide content that is relevant. To also be able to identify the right candidates to be interviewed on a weekly basis – whether agents or AIA leaders.
- Collaborate with Communications team to translate all campaigns/ initiatives into regular communications/updates and reminders to agents. Produce engaging content and manage agency social media platforms, craft circulars and EDMs for Key Agency KPIs.
- To execute overall content strategy – e.g., Promotion and tracking of social media campaigns – to create and evaluate campaigns that will garner attention from the agency force as well as motivate them to participate in contests and campaigns. Track, monitor and evaluate effectiveness and results of campaign engagement strategies and activities for improvement.
- Edit content produced by other members of the team.
- The incumbent will be expected to understand and create content around key agency KPI’s such as MAPA [Manpower, Activity, Productivity, Avg Case Size]
- Toeffectivelycreatecontent,regularinterviewswithendusers(AIAagencyforce),otherteams,andevenendcustomersmaybenecessary.Thecontentproducedcanencompassavarietyofformats,includingarticles/blogs,scriptsandstoryboardsforvideoproduction,infographics,emails,socialmediaposts,informationoncampaigns/contests,andevents.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communication or Journalism.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a communication or editorial-driven role.
- Portfolio of published articles or works.
- Experience conducting research using multiple sources.
- Familiarity with web publications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
- Hands-on experience managing mass mailing campaigns.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
- Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, AEM, Magento) and video production.
