Job summary

Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced automotive aftersales technical specialist to support dealers through online and on-site troubleshooting. You will drive issue resolution, quality control, and effective reporting.

The role requires a diploma/degree in automotive tech and 5+ years in the field, with knowledge of BEV/HEV systems and strong communication skills. English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin are preferred.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in automotive technology or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive aftersales technical support.
Exposure to Hybrid, BEV, PHEV or MHEV is advantageous.
Strong ability to prepare clear, structured technical reports.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to dealers via online troubleshooting and on-site assistance.
Monitor and manage technical issue reporting using system tools.
Support quality control measures and reporting to HQ/R&D.
Develop and implement technical reporting and communication processes with dealers.
Address retail customer concerns related to vehicle technical issues.
Manage inventory and audit tools and workshop equipment.
Prepare technical, performance, and training reports as needed.
Coordinate technical training sessions and field service actions.
