A digital services firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a passionate AEM Developer to join their team for a 4-month full-time contract. You will develop impactful web and mobile applications and provide strategic consulting. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Adobe Experience Manager experience, strong Java skills, and be adept in Agile settings.

You’ll be able to innovate and create impactful web and mobile applications while providing strategic consulting to our client. Responsibilities
  • Developing and customizing AEM templates, components, workflows, and integrations.
  • Applying AEM architecture and best practices, including content modeling, sling models, OSGi bundles, and deployment models.
  • Extending and enhancing AEM functionalities using APIs, OSGi services, and extension points.
  • Managing schemas, metadata, and ACLs for permissions.
  • Building and maintaining AEM applications in Java-based frameworks.
  • Integrating AEM with external systems such as CRMs, marketing automation tools, and third-party APIs.
  • Supporting version control, repository management, branching/merging, and deployment pipelines.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing AEM applications for performance and scalability.
What we are looking for
Must-have skills
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager development.
  • Proficiency in AEM templates, components, workflows, and APIs.
  • Strong Java programming skills and experience with AEM Java frameworks.
  • Experience integrating AEM with external platforms and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Proven problem-solving and debugging abilities in AEM environments.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have skills
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based AEM deployment models (e.g., AEM as a Cloud Service).
  • Understanding of performance tuning and security best practices in AEM.
