We are representing a REIT with a distinguished portfolio of shopping malls across Malaysia. Renowned for creating vibrant community hubs that deliver exceptional value to both shoppers and tenants, our client is entering an exciting phase of growth and innovation.

As the Advertising & Promotions (A&P) Manager, you will oversee multiple retail destinations, develop and execute A&P campaigns designed to enhance brand equity, drive significant footfall, boost tenant sales, and solidify our malls' positions as market leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the overarching annual A&P strategy and marketing calendar for the entire mall portfolio, ensuring alignment with the REIT's commercial objectives.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage the consolidated A&P budget for all malls. Responsible for strategic fund allocation, tracking expenditure, and ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI) on all marketing activities.
  • Campaign Execution & Management: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of all group-wide marketing campaigns, including major festive seasons, tactical promotions, and mall-wide sale events.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and guide the A&P teams located at individual malls. Set clear KPIs, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure consistent execution excellence across all properties.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify and secure strategic partnerships with banks, corporate brands, media houses, and other relevant organizations to create synergistic marketing opportunities and enhance campaign value.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within the shopping mall, retail, or property industry.
  • Crucially, proven experience managing marketing for multiple properties or a portfolio is highly essential.
  • Demonstrable track record of developing and executing successful, large-scale A&P campaigns that drive measurable results.
