Job summary

Keysight seeks a skilled engineer in Penang to improve product design, manufacturing, and test processes across RF/microwave systems. You will collaborate with suppliers and CM partners to drive cost optimization and new component opportunities.

The role requires degree in Electrical/Electronics and hands-on experience with RF devices and measurement equipment. You will contribute to NPI efforts and ensure producibility during transitions to production.

Qualifications

RF microwave theory and devices knowledge including amplifiers, mixers, switches.
Experience using RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer).

Responsibilities

Improves products design, manufacturing, test processes and components used to meet agreed-upon product objectives.
Work with supply chain partners to assess manufacturing cost optimize and new component technology opportunities.
Ensure products manufacturing meet business requirements, including the product lifecycle along with execution of the discontinuation.
Participates in new product introduction and influence the design of the product to ensure manufacturability, enabling prototype testing and reliability testing during transition into production.
Work with CM partners for outsourced product to meet deliveries, product performance, and business objectives.
Work with suppliers and/or material engineering on components quality, cost, and delivery of parts.
Manage bill of material and product specify information.
Manage and drive projects eg quality improvement, cost reduction and yield improvement
