Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. You will be hands-on fortifying defenses against emerging threats and acting as the subject matter expert for technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in Networking, Endpoint Security, IT Security, and conducting security audits and assessments.
• CCNA/CCNP certified network, design, or security professional.
• Experience performing cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and risk analysis using Nessus and Nmap.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies including Firewalls, ACLs, IDS/IPS, SIEM.

Advanced Cyber security Architect/Engineer

As an Advanced Cyber Sec Archt/Engr here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. You will be hands-on in fortifying defenses against emerging threats and acting as the subject matter expert for technical challenges. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying informed about emerging technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Assume leadership role in assigned projects ensuring project delivered on time and within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer

Keep technically current with the cyber security solutions, while maintaining expert knowledge on specific designated network disciplines

Maintain cyber security certifications

Maintain knowledge of current industry security standards such as IEC-62443, ISO 27000, etc.

Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support

Respond to customer inquiries, questions and issues by diagnosing problems and providing the most appropriate technical solution in an accurate and timely manner

Maintain industrial safety awareness through the completion of pertinent safety certifications.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of experience in Networking, Endpoint Security, IT Security, and conducting security audits and assessments.

CCNA/CCNP Certified Network, Design, or Security Professional.

Experience performing cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and risk analysis using tools such as Nessus and Nmap.

Experience with virtualization technologies, preferably Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper-V.

Strong knowledge of Network Security technologies including Firewalls, ACLs, IDS, IPS, and SIEM.

Hands-on experience with:

Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls

Active Directory (AD)

DNS

WSUS

Terminal Services

Antivirus solutions

Backup and Recovery solutions

Good understanding of Linux and Windows Security fundamentals.

Experience in Process Control System (PCS) design and implementation.

Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity standards and frameworks including:

ISA/IEC 62443

ISO 27001

NIST Cybersecurity Framework

ACSC cybersecurity best practices

Experience preparing Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Detailed Design Specifications (DDS).

Experience delivering network and cybersecurity services at customer sites.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills for complex network, application, and system integration issues.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including:

HSRP

STP, RSTP, MSTP

VLAN, 802.1Q

IPv4, IPv6

RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP

DNS, NTP

EtherChannel

FTP, TFTP, SSH

Preferred Certifications

CCNA / CCNP
