As an Application Engineer you will serve as a technical sales specialist responsible for providing comprehensive pre-sales support across ASEAN markets. This role combines deep technical expertise in guest room management systems with strong customer-facing skills to design customized solutions, conduct technical presentations, and support the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering team on best practices and solution development to comply with project specifications
• Lead technical aspects of the sales process, working closely with the regional sales team to identify customer requirements and develop tailored Building Automation solutions.
• Preparing technical proposals, creating system architecture diagrams, and developing detailed project specifications that demonstrate the value proposition of Building Automation technology.
• Create innovative solutions that address specific customer challenges in energy management, guest comfort, and operational efficiency.
• Staying current with product developments, understanding competitive landscape, and identifying opportunities for system enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Conduct technical presentations and live system demonstrations for prospective customers, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of Building Automation guest room management technology.
• Customize presentation content based on audience needs and the confidence to handle technical questions and objections in real-time.

Key Experience & Capabilities

• Have Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Continuous learning mindset with commitment to staying current with emerging technologies in smart building systems.
• Possess strong technical foundation in building automation systems, with particular emphasis on HVAC controls, lighting management, and energy optimization technologies.
• Understanding of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP networking is essential for successful system integration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system architecture diagrams is required.
