Admissions and Marketing Executive (Study Abroad)

We are a trusted global education and migration agency with over 21 years of experience operating in Australia, Asia, and the Americas, helping students realize their study abroad dreams. With a strong global presence, Expert Education is now expanding further in Malaysia, and we are seeking a passionate, high-performing Admissions and Marketing Executive to support our local operations.

Your Mission:

As the Admissions and Marketing Executive for Malaysia, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, attending to leads, providing initial support and consultation, and securing appointments with our Senior Education Consultants in the office. You will also liaise with global universities and colleges to manage application lodgements for students and follow up as needed. Your ability to connect with students and convert their applications into acceptances will determine your pathway progression to becoming an Education Consultant.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Lead Contact & Initial Engagement

• Contact new leads via phone, WhatsApp, or email within 12 hours of inquiry.
• Introduce Expert Education’s services and study destinations (e.g., Australia, UK, New Zealand, Germany, etc.).
• Qualify leads based on interests, academic background, and budget.
• Share initial study abroad advice (e.g., intakes, entry requirements, top destinations).
• Send introductory materials such as brochures and country guides.
• Track and update lead status in our CRM system.

Appointment Setting

• Schedule appointments for students with senior Education Counsellors.
• Prepare briefing notes for the counsellor prior to appointments.
• Confirm appointments and send reminders via WhatsApp or email.

Marketing & Lead Nurturing

• Support digital campaigns by following up with leads from social media and landing pages.
• Assist in organizing student seminars, webinars, school visits, and education fairs.
• Promote monthly offers, scholarships, and info sessions via WhatsApp broadcasts and email.

Application Processing (Progressive Role)

• Assist students with preparing application documents such as transcripts and SOPs.
• Submit applications to universities and colleges through relevant portals or email.
• Liaise with institution partners regarding missing documents or further requests.
• Track application statuses and update students regularly.

Follow-ups & Conversion

• Follow up post-counsellor appointment to clarify doubts and encourage next steps.
• Coordinate with education counsellors on strategies to close undecided leads.
• Follow up with universities on offers and conditional letters.
• Notify students promptly once offers are received and guide them through acceptance, deposits, and visa processes.

Customer Service & Reporting

• Respond professionally and promptly to all queries.
• Provide weekly updates on lead conversion and pending applications.
• Maintain accurate data and communication logs in CRM.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek a motivated, friendly, and organized junior team member to join our growing Expert Education Malaysia team. You will be the first point of contact for students and parents interested in studying abroad. Prior experience in education counselling is not required, but we value candidates who are:

• Fluent in English (additional languages like BM or Mandarin are a plus)
• Confident communicators on WhatsApp, phone, and in person
• Good at multitasking and following up
• Organized and detail-oriented, especially with documents and applications
• Comfortable using email, Google Workspace, and WhatsApp
• Willing to learn about study destinations such as Australia, UK, Germany, Japan, and Ireland
• Friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping students succeed

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Education, or related fields

Growth Path

This is a starter role with on-the-job training. The right candidate can progress to handling full student applications, liaising with universities, and supporting visa documentation, with opportunities to advance into a full Counsellor or Admissions Officer role.
