Job description

Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Executive to oversee and manage the procurement process within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, review, and process purchase requisitions from various departments ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor and track the status of orders, regularly communicating with vendors to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to facilitate the receipt and stocking of purchased items, verifying quantities and quality upon arrival.
  • Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders, reconcile any discrepancies, and facilitate the closure of purchase orders in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of procurement procedures, purchasing principles, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office Suite.
