About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Administrative cum HR Assistant to join our team at MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD'. This full-time role will be based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and will play a crucial administrative and HR support function within our growing organisation.
What you'll be doing
Providing high-level administrative support to the management team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and general office duties
Assisting with various HR responsibilities such as onboarding new employees, processing payroll, and maintaining employee records
Answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, and managing correspondence
Supporting the procurement and inventory management of office supplies and equipment
Contributing to the development and implementation of efficient administrative and HR processes and procedures
Providing general support across the organisation as needed
What we're looking for
1 year experience in an administrative or HR assistant role, ideally within the construction or property development industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills
A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
