AGSS Rawang is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, specializing in the import, export, and manufacture of statues, silverware, and stainless steel products. AGSS also ventured dealership of Petron Malaysia located at RnR Rawang North Bound.
Job Overview :
The Account Executive plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the petrol station. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing tax submissions, and ensuring financial compliance. The role requires strong attention to detail, financial acumen, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Accounting Operations
• Record daily sales of fuel and non-fuel items (e.g., convenience store, lubricants, services).
• Monitor and reconcile cash, credit card, touch n go and e-wallet transactions.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation with pump sales reports and Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Track fuel inventory usage, deliveries, and variances.
• Ensure all accounting entries are accurate and up to date.
2. Financial Reporting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales and expense reports for management review.
• Analyze variances and provide insights into performance trends.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Process supplier invoices and payment vouchers on time.
• Track utility, rental, and supplier bills and ensure timely settlement.
• Reconcile supplier statements regularly.
4. Tax & Statutory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with LHDN (Inland Revenue Board), EPF, SOCSO, and EIS requirements.
• Assist in e-invoicing
• Assist external auditors, tax agents, and government officers during audits or inspections.
• Maintain proper documentation for tax filing and financial audits.
5. Administrative & Support Duties
• Maintain systematic and organized filing of financial and administrative documents.
• Assist in preparing financial data for licensing renewals and insurance claims.
• Support the Station Manager in procurement, licensing, or human resources duties when required.
Education & Experience:
• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role (experience in a petrol station or retail environment is an advantage).
Skills & Competencies:
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and SST regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, accurate data entry skills, and high integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
Language:
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
Working :
• Based at the petrol station office
• 5-day work week (Monday to Friday), 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (hours may vary slightly).
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with fuel and vehicle traffic.
Remuneration & Benefits:
• Salary range: RM3000 - RM4200 (depending on experience and qualifications).
• EPF, SOCSO, EIS contributions.
• Annual leave, medical leave, and public holidays as per Malaysian Labour Law.
