A leading company in Malaysia seeks an Administration & Human Resources Executive to handle office and HR functions, requiring a degree and at least five years of experience. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, proficiency in Mandarin, and a solid understanding of Labour Laws. This role also involves assisting in agricultural business operations, ensuring compliance, and managing various administrative tasks.
The candidate must preferably be a degree holder in a suitable field. The job functions will mainly focus on the Group’s Human Resource & Administrative needs. Must have at five (5) years of relevant experience. Having knowledge of & familiar with the Employment Act & Labour Laws will be an added advantage.
The candidate shall have good communication skills both oral & written. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential. The candidate should also possess good analytical skills, be meticulous & proficient in computer.
The candidate when required, will also be required to assist in other duties involving the Group’s agriculture business in Farm Projects, Processing Factory, Farms Legalisation, Operations & fruits Export business.
The general job functions are:
1) Administration
• Management of the Group’s office premises (such as tenancy, repairs & servicing).
• In charge of the Group’s office equipment, appliances & Internet requirements.
• Responsible for the Group’s motor vehicles’ insurance & road tax (including farm & factory), Shell cards, company handphone package.
• Handling all business approvals/licensing/permits applications & renewals.
• Process & verify all staff’s monthly claims.
• Render assistance to all directors.
• Processing travel & hotel reservations for local & overseas trips.
2) Human Resources
• Record & monitor the Group’s staff annual leaves & sick leaves.
• Handling the Group’s insurance requirements in compliance to Labour Laws.
• Assist staff to submit medical claims & claims to PERKESO whenever necessary.
• Update the Finance Dept on the balance of AL by the 25th of the calendar month (for payslip record purposes).
• Handles resignations & employment of replacement or new staff.
3) Farm & Factory Labour Requirements (under guidance of Legal Department)
• To handle Applications of the new quota from the Ministry of Human Resources.
• Selection & Appointment of workers’ employment agents.
• Liaison & follow up with appointed agents.
• Renewals of yearly permits, work Visa, passports, purchasing air tickets & administering SOCSO claims.
• Handle paperwork for Resignations / Dismissals.
• Checking the computation of the foreign workers’ monthly wages computed by the Farm Admin.
4) Other Duties – As & when designated by the Company
