Job summary

A leading company in logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily logistics activities, including shipping arrangements and customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, proficiency in multiple languages, and strong organizational skills. Job description

Job Responsibility

  • General clerical duties including filling, photocopying and mailing.
  • Answer calls from customers regarding their inquiries
  • Make booking form and prepare shipping doc to forwarder and send relevant doc to customer.
  • Executing daily logistics activities comprising transaction of import and export.
  • Responsible to arrange planning transportation to meet the delivery deadline and monitor shipping arrangements for import and export shipments.
  • Responsible to cost monitoring of logistics expenditure from all aspect.
  • Prepare all quotation and proposal for oversea requirement given by superior.
  • Any duty assigning by superior.
  • Other ad-hoc activities as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required language(s): English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Experience in shipping arrangement (Local & Oversea) is priority.
