An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts and Administration Executive to manage full sets of accounts and support compliance with statutory requirements. This role involves preparing financial statements, handling bank reconciliations, and performing general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Manage and maintain full sets of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Fixed Assets.
Prepare and ensure timely closing of monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
Monitor and manage cash flow and petty cash claims.
Administrative Duties:
Perform general office administration tasks, including filing, correspondence, and office supply management.
Maintain organized and up-to-date company records and documentation.
Coordinate administrative operations with internal stafff and external agencies
Compliance & Support:
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g. tax filings, SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
Liaise with internal / external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary when necessary.
Requirements:
Possess a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience in administrative and accounting roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software
Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time management skills.
Able to handle confidential information with integrity.
Proficient in both written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
